6 Steps Of Drilling A Domestic or Commercial Well

Drilling A Water Well Made Simple

Step One: Estimate with Well Diagnostic Analysis

Call our office and get a free Estimate along with a Well Diagnostic Analysis at no additional cost. I will analyze your property, sewer placement and personal or business needs of the new well. After I am done with the diagnostic, I will review the most optimal well location along with water safety and any unforeseen well contaminations.

 Step Two: Preliminary Documents

Locate your plot plan. A plot plan shows your house in relationship to your septic system and other need-to-know features of your property.  If you do not have a plot plan, you can obtain one from your town or county municipal building or tax office.

 Step Three: Placing the Well

Figure out the best placement of your new well with consideration to the mandatory setbacks set forth by the state and your future needs.  Together, we will determine the best placement of your well to provide you with the most options for your plans with your property.  At this point in the process, I have extended conversations with my customers to make sure that we indeed have considered every possible variable and scenario and I understand fully your future water needs.  In addition, I explain the drilling process to you, my method of drilling, and what you can expect from me as a professional.

 Step Four: Permitting

After we figure out the best placement for your well, I will then apply for a local permit and a state permit to drill your well.

 Step Five: Drilling The Well

Once the necessary permits are obtained, I move the equipment on to your site and drilling begins. Drilling for water may take up to 5 days or longer depending on your location, water availability and level of difficulty of the project.

Step Six: Pump Installation & 60 Days of FREE Customer Support

Once you (or Mother Nature) determines that you have enough water, it is time to have the pump installed. During this time, our customer support specialist will be monitoring the final stages of well completion and providing ongoing customer support.  Our 60 days of customer support is unique only to Apple Valley Well Drilling Inc.
